EDIFICIO 003 is the renovation of part of the San José Professional Schools in Valencia, designed by architects Cayetano Borso di Carminati González and Rafael Contel Comenge between 1961 and 1968.
In the intervention, both the access areas and a series of multi-purpose interior spaces are upgraded and improved, including a concert hall and a café. Wood and ceramic tiles in yellow tones are used for the floors and wall coverings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The most prominent spaces are complemented by skylights that allow natural light to enter and give the spaces a distinctive character.
