HOUSE 010 is a single-family home located in Benissa, Alicante, on an extensive rustic plot covering approximately one and a half hectares. Designed on top a hill near Sierra de Bernia, it enjoys a privileged location that offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, framed by the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park and the surrounding natural environment, characterized by stone terraces, carob trees, and olive trees.
The project is designed longitudinally to maximize the stunning views from every corner of the home. The junction between the two units that make up the ensemble creates the main entrance.
A wall system with variable-width openings is proposed to frame the views. The first unit, which is larger, contains the master bedroom, the living room, the dining area, the kitchen, and a spacious porch. The openings in this section are graduated in width, being wider towards the porch, allowing for a smooth connection between the interior and the terrace, the pool, and the sea.
The second unit, designated for bedrooms and the garage, features smaller openings to shield from the sun, gradually opening up to a summer patio located between the house and the stone terrace at the rear.
