HOUSE 013 is a single-family home located in Benissa, Alicante, on a large rustic plot covering approximately one and a half hectares. Positioned atop a hill near the Sierra de Bernia, it enjoys a privileged location offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, framed by the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park and the surrounding landscape, characterized by stone terraces, carob trees, and olive trees.
A system of pillars with openings of varying widths is proposed, opening toward the views. The main volume, larger in size, houses on the ground floor the living room, dining room, and a spacious porch from which two additional terraces descend: the solarium and the pool deck. On either side of the main volume, two appendages contain the master bedroom (west) and the kitchen (east).
While the master bedroom features more restrained openings, the kitchen–dining area opens fully to the exterior. The entire dwelling is inserted into and adapts to the natural stone-terrace topography.
