A townhouse set between party walls, structured by three porticoes that define three bays of equal size. Beneath the two main beams, three volumes are inserted: on one side, the closet and the tall kitchen units; on the other, the bedroom and bathroom, clad in green MDF. The slight misalignment between the beams and the placement of these volumes reinforces their independence and the sense of sliding within the space.
The introduction of natural light was one of the project’s main challenges. The house had only one window facing the street, allocated to the primary bedroom. The rest of the daylight enters through the large south-facing window that opens onto the landscaped patio, allowing light to pass through the porticoes and flood the entire space.
This natural lighting is complemented by two strategically placed skylights: one above the kitchen island and another above the living room.
