HOUSE 016 is a single-family home located on a corner urban plot. Although local regulations required the construction of three levels, the project introduces a sectional variation between the two halves of the house. The south-facing portion has three floors, while the north-facing side is developed on only two. This offset creates double-height spaces in the living–dining room and the main bedroom, with ceilings exceeding five meters, which also open onto the large landscaped patio.
The ground floor is structured through a series of wall lines that define the pedestrian and vehicular entrances, as well as a recessed window that brings light into one of the bedrooms.
Inside, a rectangular volume contains the guest bathroom and defines both the entrance hall and the circulation spaces around it. The staircase becomes the main organizing element in section—the backbone that connects and gives access to the rooms on each floor.
