morenomuñoz’s objects are special works designed to convey more directly the fundamental principles that define us. The armchair OBJECT 003 is an individual reading unit with seating and book storage. Its construction starts with a solid wood module measuring 50cm in width, 244cm in length, and 2.80cm in thickness. This dimension, standardized in the woodworking industry, is subdivided into 6 planes of varying lengths, all with a fixed width of 50cm and lengths that, when combined, result in 244cm.

This is why the piece is titled measurement and module, referencing the fact that its dimensions are derived from the standard module, with the intent of producing no waste during its fabrication. In this way, we aim to reflect our commitment to the conscious use of natural resources, designing pieces and spaces whose manufacturing and construction processes are as sustainable as possible. Furthermore, the use of durable and non-toxic oils and varnishes allows for virtually no maintenance and ensures the subsequent reuse or recycling of the wood used.
